Why won't my apps open?

Why wont my newly downloaded apps show up on my iphone 4s?

  • Ok I recently bought a new iphone 4s, as well I have just updated my itunes to whatever the newest one is. Anyways, my problem is that I have downloaded my music with no issues, and all of my apps transferred without issue. But when I downloaded a few new apps from the app store, they wouldn't appear on any of the home screens. If I go to the search bar and type in the name, than they show up and when I sync my phone to my laptop, they all show in itunes, but not on the home screens. My phone shows that I have 11 home screens of apps. Does that mean that thats all the iphone 4s allows is 11 pages worth of "visible" apps and that any new ones will have to be searched? Does anyone know what the problem could possibly be? Also, I have "automatically sync all new apps" checked so thats not the issue. could it be the new itunes update?

    TURN OFF YA PHONE, TURN IT ON! DO YOU SEE DA APPS? IF NOT, I SUGGEST GETTIN' A NEW PHONE!
