How to convert recorded programs from TV to removable device?

Dear All, I am having LG LCD TV & Big TV Dish,i need to know how to convert the recorded programs to Removable device (i.e. USB , CD'S ,Hard disk, system etc) . All recorded programs in Big TV Setup box & there is no place to storing programs.for storing programs ,i have to delete the programs but i cannot Delete the programs so please tell the procedure for converting to other device.
