Is a 2005-2006 Nissan Altima a good car?

2002-2003 Nissan Altima Car.?

  • Okay, so I been wanting to get a car and The Nissan 2002-03 cars caught my attention and I feel that iam settled for that type of car. Im a college student getting my first car so I cant afford something that cost too much and I've seen some low priced Nissan that fit my budget. So i was wondering if they are good cars? I would most likely be getting a 2.5 because there really isnt 3.5 for sale that are not too pricey. and i would be looking at around 100-130 miles. Do you think i should get A nissan car or opt for another type of car? Pros and Cons? And if a Nissan Altima car has had a transmission change in the car should i get it? Thanks !! I appreciate the help.

2002 altima cars came with a factory error on the floor boards, they tend to corrode very fast. My 2002 Altima 2.5 had the passenger side (front) floorboard corroded, so I had to pay a shop to weld a piece of steel and seal is properly. Make a search on google "2002 2003 altima floorboard rust" Other than that...its a good car, mine has 130K miles and still no engine leaks or transmission leaks or check engine light. just take car of it, proper maintenance. if your going to see an altima 2002-2004 from a seller, just take a look under the car...and look for really bad rust on the floor boards..
