What is it like to be a computer hardware engineer?

What type of engineer develops computer hardware etc?

• I really like the idea of working with computer and computer hardware specifically. When you read and see videos saying eg' the engineers at interl really came up with something new here' just a random example but you hear things like that a lot. So what type of engineers are they exactly? And is that the name of a course at uni. Are they electronic engineers or what and if they were 'electronic engineers' for instance would they have just done a course at university called 'electronic engineering'
