How Do You Get Off Probation Early?

How long will I be on probation, or am I even gonna get probation (possesion of pot)?

• K so I'm 15 live n texas( never been even close to getting in any type of legal trouble I have no record ) nd got caught with undwr a g of weed nd I had a beer n my hands I didn't get arrested but was placed n handcuff my mom came nd got me. I was very polite said yes sir no sir ( I never do tht lol). But I got a letter in the mail saying I hav a 5 hour meeting with a po ( I dnt really remember wht all it said). I'm ok with quitting and getting a po but my friend said tht they can't put you on probation without a court ttrial which never happened nd I'm possitive tht its not a court trial cuz the meeting isn't even at a courthouse. So um 2 questions here tht me nd my frnd want to kno can I get assigned probation without court annnnddd r they going to drug test me the 15 I'm clean nd everything my friend says they cnt make me giv a drug test without a court order idk who's right. Any help?

  Usually you need to be convicted of a crime before you are put on probation and if you are put on probation there is different levels of probation like supervised release or non supervised. Also if the judge orders that you be placed on drug testing for a set amount of time then that would be part of your terms of probation. Maybe this meeting you are going to have public defender to appear in court for you if they did indeed charge you with a crime.
