Where can i find gimp brushes?

i was wondering where i can find gimp brushes... i use to download them from deviant ART but then i found out it had a virus

GIMP can use Photoshop brushes as well as GIMP brushes. DeviantArt probably has the most, but when you download stuff from any website you should really do a virus scan of any files you download. Brushes for GIMP or Photoshop usually come in a zip file. Also make sure the brush files themselves are actually brushes. The brushes GIMP can use have the following extensions .gbr .gih .vbr .abr
