I have tinnitus but its hard to stop being a hypochondriac need advice?

• i bugs me so much that what ever i do touch i hear it in my head it is like mind it glued on the tinnitus i don't know what to do it really driving me nuts. and when i am outside i hear a whistle sound with my hearing and that is all i can think about how do i stop this Obsession

There are one or two new medicines to treat tinnitus, but the damage may or may not have been done to your inner ear, and only a specialist can correctly diagnose your hearing disorder. Some companies have an hearing device you wear that produces a frequency that reduces the humming, hissing, etc. The object of these devices are that they try to fool the brain to lessen the never- ending sounds you may hear. The ENTs only accept referrals from a doctor, so if you have a family doctor, he/she can refer you.
