You don't look for an "RN" program. You look for degrees in nursing. RN or Registered Nurse is the title you use after you complete the degree and the NCLEX. It is not the name of the degree itself. This is a BSN program. http://www.twu.edu/nursing/bs-program-requirements.asp This is an Associates program. http://www.brookhavencollege.edu/instruction/h-h-services/nursing/#welcome The steps outlined are pretty simple. If you have questions and want a detailed class plan, you need to go to one of the colleges and get a counselor to explain the process. The colleges also have a fnancial aid office.

Well, there are pre-reqs usually to any RN schooling. This consists of math classes, electives, humanities, Anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemisty, etc. After that you have to be accepted into the nursing program (depending on what school you go to, and if the pre-reqs are part of the program or not) After that, its straight nursing classes and clinicals.

RN's are pretty advanced in their knowledge even above a Paramedic. There are several levels of nuses and RN's are pretty close to the top. I think you are confusing RN's with the nursing programs you see advertised on tv such as Everest College which trains nursing assitants. A RN requires an AA degree and then 2 years of school beyond that in nursing. When an RN graduates they will usually have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Contact your local college as most of them run the nursing programs. If you can afford it try a University as they tend to be a little better than the community college.
