How to make Chicken Chow Mein?

Can i make chow mein using crisp noodles?

  • I want to make chow mein similar to the ones you buy at Panda Express. But i only have crisp noodles. Can i make chow mein using these noodles or do i have to buy different types of noodles? Please help. I want to know what kind of noodles to buy and where i can find them? Thanks [:

I'm not familiar with chow mein made by Panda Express, but I used "crisp" noodles for my chow mein all the time. After every thing's nearly cooked in the pan I layer the noodles over the veggies and bean sprouts, pop on the cover and let the resultant steam soften the noodles, then mix everything together before serving.

You mean the crunchy chow mein noodles? That's what real chow mein is. If you're thinking of something with regular soft noodles, that's Lo mein.
