HRD Ministry is planning to hold the new common entrance test called "ISEET" as per new format on April 7, 2013 to be conducted by CBSE. Discussion is going on but there is no final notification, time is less for conducting such a big exam.in 2013. so, i have doubt about ISEET-2O13. Tough time for all the students those are going for 2013 exam.so, i feel you should prepare yourself in accordance.........both JEE & ISEET. Self study needs a lot of dedication and spirit to perform. IITJEE requires Determination, never give up attitude, loving your subjects and of course motivation. Fact: - IITJEE 2005 topper, Piyush Srivastava never took coaching and was able to get AIR 1 in IIT JEE as well as AIEEE. There are many websites for IIT-JEE...visit few below... http://www.questtutorials.com/free-stuff/ http://www.questtutorials.com/blog/iit-jee-study-planner-minimum-recommended-time-for-self-study/

....you're 12 and you don't understand that the way you're talking/typing is completely illegible?

My advice: If you didn't score well above 200 in the IIT-JEE 2012, don't bother yourself with it, just focus on the AIEEE and the BITSAT. Even if you were to somehow make it to the top 2000 next year, chances are that you won't like it much in the IIT that you join; You'll be on your toes all the time, keeping up with all the crap the college throws at you (I've been told that people who rely on mugging and other exceptionally brainless ways Kota and similar places use to throw people into the IITs, don't fare all that well once they join). In my opinion, if you're meant for it, you would've cracked it on your first try. You'll fit in a lot better at an NIT or BITS, they're as good (if not better!) Anyway, next year, there WON'T BE an IIT-JEE.... Don't you read the news? But if you're still keen on preparing for it (assuming that there is going to bee a JEE-like exam), you'll find the following books really helpful: "Fundamentals of Physics" by Resnick / Halliday / Walker has been a bible for physics students through the ages. As far as learning physics concepts go, there is absolutely no alternative. To apply the aforementioned knowledge to specifically solve JEE problems, look no further than "Concepts of Physics" (vol.s 1 and 2) by H.C.Verma. "Organic Chemistry" by Morrison Boyd, and "University Chemistry" by Mahan / Meyers are the best books in their fields, but are positively gigantic, and are best used as reference modules. For numerical problems on physical chemistry, "Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations" by RC Mukherjee is quite useful. For any math topics, consult appropriately titled "Arihant Publishers"' books. I would suggest you draw up a plan to effectively revise the entire syllabus, irrespective of what your current strengths and weaknesses might be (don't get overconfident and skip stuff in topics you think you're well versed in, and at the same time, don't shun topics you're prejudiced against (like conic sections, for me!) just cover every topic without any bias, maybe even spend a little extra time on the stuff you're weak in) so that you're done studying stuff at least by December or so. From then on, take up some previous years' JEE papers, grade yourself honestly (I tend to award myself marks where I think the answer key might be wrong :)), rate your performance using appropriate rank vs. marks lists, and see where you stand. If you're not satisfied, work out your weak spots for the next couple of weeks or so, then repeat the paper-taking procedure, using sample papers from online or printed resources (they tend to be a little harder, to prepare you better) This plan seems foolproof to me at least, and I probably would've followed it if I wasn't such a lazy SOB! Anyway, hope you have better luck next year!
