How can your vocabulary expand through Study Abroad?

What other ways can I expand my vocabulary?

• Read Carefully I have in the past four years have managed to read dictionaries and thesauruses to expand my vocabulary because mother told the better your vocabulary the more respect you receive and the better chance of finding a job because you come off as intelligent. I have also been making an effort not to swear because that shows a limited vocabulary so, I use words that most people would not understand to fight my battles. However, my vocabulary still needs expanding so, are there any other ways of expanding it? Like games or something?

  try learning a second language!! it enhances your understanding of words, like word roots and stuff. so then you will be able to understand words that you haven't seen before, because you know the general meaning of it. plus, 75% of the world doesn't have english as a first language, so that will make you seem smarter when or if you go overseas for a job as well. plus, most job applications, if both applicants have the same thing exept you can speak a second language, you will be picked over the other person.
