Whats a good, cheap place to get posters made, and how big should the photo be?

I was just looking to make some of my own posters or have some made, and i was wondering where is the best place to get them made and also what is an appropriate size for a photo to become "posterized"?

I frequently get poster sized photos made at Walmart, they are inexpensive and decent quality, and you can get done in an hour. The size of your image isn't as important as the quality of the image. Low definition images will not look as good as a high definition images when blown up to poster size.
