How much would insurance for running a business cost?

How muc does it cost to keep a business running that hasn't made an income in 5 years?

• The reason im asking this is because m parents had a business that started in like 2001 and was pretty successful, worth 4 million dollars. But 5 years ago it started going way down because of the economy and stuff (it was a business on immigrating nurses to america. And immigration has kinda stopped). So for the past 5 years the business hasn't really shut down, its been on "hold" or something like that. Because of the business, me and my fam had discounted iphone bills. But now my dad wants to shut it down and that means good bye iphones. They won't tell my why, just that it costs too much. Something to do with taxes. Does it really cost that much to keep a business on hold that makes no income? Like why randomly close it after holding it for 5 years?
