LG flat tv light flashes constantly?

LG LCD TV Dimming Light?

• I dont know if its my tv or if its my ps3 im watching a movie a blu ray movie and when in the movie its night time you see the light dimming darker in the screen or it comes back lighter i see that when theres lights outside a little bit the light in the tv dims back to normal i want to know if this is a problem ? the tv or ps3? i heard if you play alot of video games on tvs that it messes it up how is that even possible i only had this tv for about a few months now and i bought a new ps3 and a new wii i dont see why a game console would ruin a brand new tv please help me!!! tell me if this is normal i hope it is i have a 42 inch LCD LG tv and i put the picture mode in "Vivid" aspect ratio is in 16:9 sleep timer is off i heard some LG tvs dim the tv light for eample if the lights in your room is on the tv dims if its off it lights up but the case with mine it doesnt do either one even if i have my lights off in my room...it still does what i explained what i said in the beginning i hope this isnt a problem please some one help me.

  It sounds as though you have your LG TV set to automatic sensor which varies the brightness when switched on. All you need to do is go to energy saver, which is usually a green button and switch it off.
