Whats the difference between "like" and "love"?

  • My boyfriend just told me he loves me. I like him a lot, I fully trust him, respect him, enjoy spending time with him, etc. But I don't think I love him yet.. how will I even know the difference between liking him and loving him

    You will most definitely know when you fall in love with him. It took me about 2-3 months of knowing and liking my boyfriend to fall in love with him...Sometimes it takes longer sometimes less. If he's always on your mind and he makes you happy and you miss him when he's not with you...You're definitely getting close or actually have already fallen in love with him. I can't explain it, it's strange how you suddenly 'know' or at least I did. If you can see a future with him and he means the world to you, and there's nothing you'd rather do than be with him, and you care about him deeply, then you love him. Be honest with him and tell him you really like him but don't love him yet, I'm sure you will soon. Best wishes :)

When you love someone, theyre all you can think about. Seeing them still gives you goosebumps. You get jitters when they just talk, or call you. You cant concentrate because youre thinking about them. You trust them completely. Theyre the one person you hate to fight with, and that you will lose a fight against, just so you can keep them. Theyre the one person you can imagine marrying, having children with, and dying side-by-side, arm in arm, hand in hand with. :)

I personally believe that it's really dangerous to use "Love" or "the L" word. Like is the good feeling that you don't wanna lose it. Love is beyond everything in this world. If you feel it, you are already in the different world.
