Does German embassy have Interview for Schengen visa?

Can i apply for a Schengen visa in Italy embassy and then travel to Switzerland without going to Italy.?

Hence can i apply for a Schengen visa in the Italy embassy and then travel to Switzerland without traveling to Italy.

    You need to get the visa from the country which you plan to visit. If you arrive in Switzerland with a visa issued by Italy and you cannot show any evidence of further travel to Italy you risk annulment of your visa on entry and to be sent back to your country of residence. what is your nationality?, the Schengen system is in place to allow EU citizens with national ID cards to travel from one EU country to another without a passport. The UK doesn't have ID cards so the Schengen agreement can't be used by UK citizens, and it also can't be used by citizens of a non EU country.
