What are your experiences in Phuket?

So I'm going to Phuket this year with my family (I'm 13 girl) and I am intreated to hear other people's stories. We're staying at Gracelands and were flying direct to Phuket with Jetstar. I want to know things like: What is Gracelands like? Where should i go and what should I see? Is Phuket Zoo any good? What is the plane ride like? What sort of things should I pack? (e.g camera, paper) and anything else you think is interesting

Depending where your flying from its like any other ordinary plane flight. I have flown with Jetstar several times and I wouldn't expect anything great. Gracelands is an great beach front resort I am sure you will like it As for Phuket I don't like it anymore. You get ripped off the moment you exit the airport. Everything is overpriced compared to the rest of Thailand. Everywhere you go and everything you do you feel your being ripped off. The islands are stunning the seafood is delicious the weather is extremely humid. Enjoy
