What should I expect on a French exchange?

My friend is going to Japan for this exchange student program.What will she expect?

  • We're in Hawaii so the Asian culture is mixed. My friend is Jap-Am(her family has been here since the early 1900's) like me and is going to Japan next year for the program.What will she expect?Is there going to be a language issue due to her ethnicity being the same as the Japanese in Japan. She is fully Americanized and she knows no Japanese(though she likes anime in Japanese)Is there Facebook in Japan so we can communicate?

    What do you mean by language issue? If she does not speak Japanese, she will certainly have some problems. Facebook is popular in Japan, too. But it does not matter if there is Facebook in Japan. There is no border on Internet, is there?

There is evrything in Japan,skype,facebook,she will have good time here in and irecommend you to come and visit her.young japanese can speak english and there are lot's of Americans here so she doesn't need to worry about the language at all.
