What type of lawyer deals with police corruption?

Let me express my abject disgust with the New York police department and their depraved behavior and misuse/abuse of constituted authority that I have had the displeasure of witnessing my entire life. I'm thinking about becoming a lawyer that deals strictly with corrupt police officers and maybe upper class perpetrators and nothing else. What type of lawyer is this called? Is this criminal law, fraud law or some other type.
