How do I get rid of these lumps on my chin?

• Ok, so I have this lump on my chin and I get these every once and a while. I'm sure it's a pimple, and I have a really bad habit of picking at my pimples, although I rarely get pimples of any sort. So, this morning I was messing with the lump on my chin, poking it, squeezing it... now it looks like a total disaster. I know that I have to break the habit of popping my pimples and I really try to, but if you guys have any suggestions to stop, I could use them. I feel really annoyed with myself after I've squeezed the life out of the pimple, and it looks like a disaster... and I don't have any makeup of any kind to cover up what I did, and my mom says that if she gets me some then it would give me more reasons that it's ok to pick. I agree with her. So, back to my lump. It's really annoying and hurts really really bad if I touch it, also it's not like I can pop it because it hurts if I even touch it... also it's a lump so I have no clue how I could pop it if I have no idea where the place to pop it is, so how would I get rid of it? I also get dry skin on my chin and below my nose on the sides, and I don't know how to treat that either. My mom keeps telling me to splash water on my face, which doesn't help one bit. I looked around my house for something better than water and came across Carmex, which I've been using and it works, but is that bad for my face? So mostly all I want to know is; how do I stop picking, how to get rid of my dry skin, and how to get rid of my pimples.
