    It's more than counting calories to determine whether or not you'll lose weight. I learned that the hard way. Your question is if you take in 14,420 cals in a week and burn 22,260 cals will you lose 2.24 pounds a week? You could but probably not. It depends on your metabolism and what you are doing for exercise. If you lift weights your weight will shift causing you to look like you've lost or even gained weight. If your metabolism is slow then your body will hold on to some of those 2,060 cals that you thought you burned as fat in your tissue..causing you to gain weight even still. Based on my experience if you are going to lose weight calorie wise with no exercise, take in HALF the calories you will burn a day up to a minimum of 1200. So burn as much as you like but take in at least 1200. You won't lose much weight taking in 64% of the calories you want to burn.
