How do you play the Pokemon Trading card game?!?

• I have just bought a black and white theme deck, and I really want to play the game, but I can't understand the instructions, it is so complicated for me! :/ Would someone please give me clear step by step instructions with a small vocabulary? Thank you in advance :)

  well the instructions pretty much explain it but i guess can be complicated. I'll give you a summary. So first thing first you need a deck, and you have one. Then both players shuffle decks and then after that you draw i think it's 6 cards ( gosh i haven't played for a while). After that you need 6 prize cards to be taken off the top of your deck and not looked at then set them face down in one spot. Then with the cards you drew you put down all the basic cards you want to (or have). one basic card goes in the front to battle. if you dont have any basic cards both players must re draw their main cards. Now you start attaching energy to your pokemon so they can attack. now to evolve your pokemon you put the next evolution on top of it once per turn if you have it in your hand. Every turn you draw a card and put it in your hand. trainer cards help you and do what they say. After your pokemon is defeated you put it and it's energies in the discard pile, then your opponent takes a prize card. whoever runs out of cards loses, or if all your pokemon are defeated your opponent wins, or if you get all your prize cards then you win. that's pretty much the basics ( oh you also need a coin to play). I stongly suggests going to http://www.pokemontcg.com/ . it is a virtual pokemon card game for free and can teach you how to play. my little sister easily understood after playing it. And your deck shouldv'e came with a code to enter on there so you can play with it online (after you make an account for free).
