If a physician assistant makes 100k, how much does a physician make?
-
Why does a PA make so much money too? Do PA's even go to medical school too?
-
Answer:
Not all PA's make 100k. PA's go to graduate school but its not quite medical school. If you had to equate it to something it would be like a masters degree. They do study some of the same things you would in medical school, just less in depth and less of it. Physicians easily make more than a PA. The lowest paid physicians are probably general practice or family medicine doctors. They earn around 130,000-160,000. Physicians can earn way more though depending on their specialty. Surgeons (depending on field) can easily make over 250,000. Lots of other specialties in medicine can make over 200,000, must more than a PA.
