Can I put talent shows on a resume? answer please?

So I found this agency on the SAG.org website. It's called "Youth Talent Connection". And they seem to be franchised, which I know they have to be in order to be a legit agency. But I'm worried that they still might not be legit, like Osbrink. Because I know they're legit and get people a lot of work. But I want to do film more than commercials. But I guess getting into commercials would be a good idea first right? And I have experience, I've been in 12 musicals & plays, and I've gotten mostly supporting roles, and 3 leads. And a few featured parts too. I also have a bit of a tiny part I did in a musical I was in. But I'm wondering if I should even send that, because I didn't say anything, it was just me standing in the front of the stage, waiting to get a fake drink. But I still have it on video. (it was a small featured part that I got). And I was also in a 4 student college films where I was leads, but I didn't like how I looked in them. Although they gave me a reel anyways. I really don't know what to send, because with the theatre one, if I send it it will look like I have something right? Should I send it? Or not considering I didn't say anything. But it shows me acting (kind of). Do you think I have enough experience for them? My family also has a small vacation type house that we always go to in Los Angeles, so would they accept me even though we don't exactly live in Los Angeles but we live in California? And what should I do about the "reel" ? Thanks! Oh I can also play guitar, sing, do jazz dance, rock climb, play volley ball, and swim. Would playing guitar be a good thing on the special skills part of the resume? I can also write songs. Can I put that on their too? How should I put that? I am also doing a couple of local talent shows in the next couple months. Can I put them on their? And how should I mention how I placed? Should it be like this? Name of "venue" (how I placed)- Song choice? I'm not really sure how I should put the talent show I'm doing on my resume. And can I put that on my reel? Because I'm planning on video taping it too. Thanks!

Answer:
Okay first of all it doesnt matter how you look in the film, you were a lead and it counts as a Student Film you should most definitly send in the reel/ put it on your resume. As for the theatre only put on your resume what you played named roles in, if you didn't lay a character with a name, don't put it on your resume. For special skills you should put all the things you listed including song writing. It doesn't matter that you don't live in la just be ready to have to drive out to la whenever they ask you to. And if I were you I wouldn't put the talent shows on your resume but that's just me. Hope this helped and It's always great to start out with camercials and work your way up. You have to start somewhere and I learned alot from being in camercials when I was younger about the proper ways to act on set and things like that. Good luck!
