What is the best Digital Piano?

What is the best digital piano/keyboard to get?

• I am looking to buy a 76 or 88 key digital piano or keyboard. At the moment I have a 61 key Casio CTK-52OL. Yeah it's pretty old I got it ages ago for Christmas just for fun. But recently I've been trying to teach myself how to play again, because I don't have time for lessons (I took lessons for like a year when I was little). I don't have enough keys to play some songs properly and it annoys me, also I want a newer keyboard. The problem is I don't really know what brand or model to get? I want it to have sound effects and maybe lessons like the one I have now does. I heard Yamaha is the best brand but I'm not sure and I'm not very good at researching so please help me, thanks! P.S: I don't want it to be too expensive because I'm just getting it for fun, I'm not gonna do this for a career or anything! :) Also I wasn't sure what category to put this in, sorry if it's wrong!

  Well, since your just doing it for fun, I would suggest you try the Yamaha YPG-235. It's a 76-key keyboard, doesn't have the weighted keys like a real piano, but it has tons of voices, you can record songs, etc. I have one at the moment, I've had it for about a year now, and it has never been any problem. Has great sound, is lightweight, and you can take it on the road with you if you want. I'm saving up to buy a Yamaha DGX-640 soon. I plan on doing it professionally so I'm gonna be spending about $900. If you just plan on doing it for fun, go with something cheap and good quality, like the YPG-235. Best of luck!
