What do people like about the show Big Bang Theory?

  • To me, it's just a group of socially awkward men that try to get girls to sleep with them. I guess Sheldon's not bad, but he kind of annoys me. What do people like about the show? I ask because my brother is obsessed and watches the same episides over and over again.

    Hmm, i suppose it has it's moments, i'm a science freak, so i tend to get where they are coming from. other than that, EVERYONE apart from Penny and Lennard are annoying, Sheldon is funny but frustrating and Howard is just a creep, Amy is one of those girls who wont get off your back, Bernadette's voice goes through me, Raj, i don't see the point of him. And Krav Maga is NOT 98 ways to rip a guys balls off! <_< EDIT: wtf? i get thumbed down for stating my own opinion? what a joke...

I LOVE Big Bang Theory! The fact that it's pretty funny, they ARE socially awkward men that try to get women to sleep with them, but it's shown in a comedic way and it makes people laugh! I'm 14 by the way, and I love it.

I just started watching it (have see 5 eps) and im starting to wonder the same thing. Its not that bad but also nothing sensational. I hope it gets better. I like the nerds.

Dumb people like the show because they use big words and it has a scientific theory in the name. It allows them to feel like they know something. The acting is D class and the facial expressions and acting of Sheldon are F class. It has a poor plot that repeats itself. Honestly, it is bad even for sitcom standards. Also the people who like it from what I have seen tend to be between ages 13 and 16. Young enough to like shitty TV shows. Also that concept of awkward guys trying to sleep with girls etc.. It's overdone. I have seen it so many times it doesn't phase me.

Its innocent fun, why do people have to disect everything on the planet, its just a TV show and if it doesn't please you, change the channel, you seem to know way too much about a show you don't like, Saddy... to answer you,.. its a show that appeals to people who like to laugh i think it's funny but you need to take it lightly and enjoy it like a cartoon.
