How to downgrade PS3 firmware 3.73 to 3.55 and is there way to?

Hey I have my PS3 and I have the firmware 3.55 and I wanna play assassin's creed revelations and I can't find eboot patched one. so If I update the firmware is there a way to downgrade it?? and I came up with this site saying that you can downgrade.. http://www.downloadatoz.com/howto/how-to-downgrade-ps3-3-72-ofw-to-ps3-3-55-firmware,27635.html

The site is more or less correct about needing an E3 Flasher or similar hardware flashing device to do it. It IS possible to downgrade but it's neither free or easy. You HAVE to use one of those devices and you HAVE to open up your PS3 to install it.
