Do I need a converter for this headset?

Need help converting Xbox 360 to LCD monitor WITH Audio!?

• I am going to use cables to convert the video for my Xbox 360 to my LCD computer monitor, via this cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030CGMAC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A119K31BOSN2QF (360 to VGA adapter) I am getting a little confused on converting the audio to my headphones though..I have headphones that are USB with a microphone. I know in order to convert the audio from the VGA adapter cable (hooked up to the xbox) I need a 3.5mm audio splitter, and then I need some kind of 3.5mm to USB adapter, but that doesn't allow me to use the mic. I know that you can use this little gadget http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FL5QOA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2NK89850H0GO2 (Headphone Audio Adapter for Xbox 360) to use a regular headset with mic on the xbox, but that only plays Mic sounds NOT game audio.... Is there an adapter that will allow me to use my USB headphones with Mic for both Voice sounds AND game audio AND hook into the audio converter for the 360 to VGA adapter..? CONFUSING!! >_<

  Why can't you just ignore the audio cables entirely and just plug the headphones into one of the 360's USB ports? The VGA cable just carries a video signal, with the red/white cables carrying the game sounds (not the mic stuff) I'm not that familiar with these USB-based headphones. Pretend you were using a plain old TV. How would the cables be connected in that situation? Now just do that. The only difference is that your video cable is now a VGA cable, and your "TV" doesn't have built in speakers - but that doesn't matter because you aren't interested in using your "TV" speakers anyways.
