Should I use my yahoo email or my hotmail email for my new xbox live account?

    use your Yahoo one, Hotmail isn't that good, it gets a lot of spammers and hack attacks which cause your account to be closed, and it's real hard to get back. in the 10+ years i've had my yahoo email account i've never been blocked out of it, my Hotmail account has had multiple blocks on it and i've just given up with it since it's too hard to get back now.

Really it should be the email that you use the most - like your main email account. This is because if XBOX send you any notifications or important notices that affect you directly or affect every XBOX gamer, then you will know about it. Linking your new account to an email account that is not your main one or that you don;t use as much is not really a good idea because you will not get these important messages and if you're like me you may forget you're log-in details unless you memorise or write them down.
