How to care for wild baby bunny?

Can i care for a wild baby bunny that i found?

  • I found a baby bunny that looks like its about 3-4 weeks old, Maybe older too. Can i care for this baby??

  • Answer:

Leave wild animals ALONE! Nature has been getting along for a very long time without humans stepping in. Leave the bunny so its mother can find it and take care of it unless you have saw the mother dead. If you don't see her dead then she is prolly just out looking for food. So leave the baby alone. If you want a pet rabbit you can buy baby bunnies at the pet store and some feed stores for pretty cheep. Although they require alot of work if you keep them indoors.

I think it's actually illegal to do that in most states. You're supposed to contact your Wildlife Rescue Center or similar, not that most people do this...

Absalutely! The same thing happened to me! I found a few week old baby cotton tailed bunny and I took care of her. Take care of him/her the same way you would take are of a domestic rabbit. Have a cage, food, bedding,a water bottle, etc. and the bunny should be just fine. Have Fun! Hope This All Helps!
