Unable to login to Facebook due to Roadblock?

  • Whenever I try to log into facebook It won't allow it. When I log on it asks me to "please take a moment to secure you facebook account' and it gives me a 5 step process. 1. security check 2.Verifiy Account 3.Change Password 4.Review Information 5. Restore account. After getting to number 4 it sends me back to the homepage, and I try to log in. I have went through all of these steps at least 20 times. I have completed all troubleshooting steps, clearing cash, cookies, etc. and nothing is helping. Recently, there was a security incident on another website unrelated to Facebook. Facebook was not directly affected by the incident, but your Facebook account may be at risk if you were using the same password in both places. As a precaution, we'll walk you through a few steps to help you secure your account. It will take just a couple of minutes. First, we'll ask you a couple of security questions to confirm that this is your account. (If we recognize your computer, you'll be able to skip this step.)

I am also having the same problem now for the past week and its so frustrating as no one has actually said they restored their account. My problem is all my information and photo's are on my problem. please also let me know once you have a solotuion.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've been trying to log in for over two weeks now. I have also tried clearing cookies etc. Anybody find a solution yet? I hate having my account out there and not being able to control it.
