What are the best settings for uploading to YouTube?

Can you help me with Adobe Premiere Render settings?

  • I've been searching on the internet for some good information about render settings preferably for Battlefield 3 (PS3). I used a Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition to record my game play. The output when played back on my computer after recording, is PERFECT, but after editing & rendering with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 than uploading to YouTube, somewhere in between I ******* up and my quality is HD (at least YouTube's video player thinks so) but to me it's just a bit off, kind of like a blur effect is on when I know it isn't, it isn't crystal clear like the original file. These are some settings I'm testing out right now, I have something rendering with them at the moment but I wanted to hopefully receive some advice or opinions about these settings. What do I change, if any or add?. And anything else you guys can offer is much appreciated! Current settings being tested. Video: NTSC, 1280x720, 60 fps, Progressive (I heard someone say turn progressive off, true or false?) Audio: AAC, 192 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo Bitrate: VBR, 1 Pass, Target 15.00, Max 20.00 Mbps

  • Answer:

adjust the video bitrate to higher value, and choose another output video format, then have a try, is that ok? or use other video editor software to have a test, like youtube movie maker, vegas, etc.
