How to treat acne and acne scars?

  • I'm pretty desperate for help, the left side of my face is pretty fine but the right side has acne and scars/red marks. Every morning and night before I shower I apply baking soda mixed with water on my face for a few minutes, then when I get out of the shower I use this olay facial scrub that kills bacteria. I heard yogurt really helps, I want to try home remedies before I go to a dermatologist. Any tips please, this really kills my confidence. Thank youu

    Hi, Here are some home remedies you can try. • Mix 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of finely ground cinnamon powder. Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and dab on your acne. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes then wash your face with cold water. • Orange peels are also good home remedies for acne. Let the peel dry in the sun then grind the dried peels with some water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the infected area and wash off with water after it has dried • Mix equal amounts of lime juice and fresh tomato juice with 4 tablespoons of rose water. With this mixture, dab your face every 2-3 hours. Hope this will help. Good luck
