How can I get faster at the 100m?
-
Ok. I ran a 12.95 last week and this week I ran 13.14. My coach says I need to stop bringing my knees so high and I will go faster. But can someone please explain to me how I can get low 12 in a week or 2.? Please explain and we don't use starting blocks because it's not allowed and I don't wear spikes. My problem is most likely the form and start. I'm 5'11 150lbs 8th grade. please help me so I can try to run for my high school next year, and I need to prepare for championships next week.

Answer:
run it over and over ask your coach to show you the proper technique for a quick start and explode at the beginning gain the quick lead then focus on your strides the rest of the way , you can only get better at something by doing it over and over
