Is this just growing pains or is something more serious?

Am i having growing pains or is something wrong..?

• ever since i was a wee little toddler i have had pain directly behind my knee in both legs. i am now about to turn 15 and still experiencing them at least once every two weeks. the pain is horrible. its indescribable. i have a very high pain tolerance but the pain this causes makes me SCREAM in agony. it tends to happen at night and lasts through out most of the night and when i wake up its gone. its a very severe dull aching type of pain and is extremely painful, i would rather chop both my legs off than have to experience the pain. so i guess my question is this growing pains or is there something wrong that i should get checked out by a doctor? i mean i would expect the growing pains to have stopped by now since i'm pretty sure i've stopped growing..thanks in advance!

  it is very unusual for growing pains to cause that much pain, you most likely have had a small condition sense you were little, go see a physician, so it does not worsen over more time. hope you feel better :]
