Carnival cruise Insurance .What do you think ?

  • I really want to go on a cruise some time within the next couple of months,but I might get any job offer also within the same time . What about the Carnival insurance? Will it cover our trip expenses ? Thanks a lot.

    Most trip insurance only covers illness and death. There is no insurance that will cover loss just due to the fact that you have to work. The only exception that I have seen is one that is offered by Princess where they will give a future cruise credit for a certain percentage of what you paid if you cancel for any reason. ℬ ℋ

What you need is a policy that has a "cancel for any reason" feature, which will, of course, cost more. Insuremytrip.com is an easy place to compare trip insurance policies.

We purchased outside insurance with a company called Blue Cross. There are two forms of insurance - medical and trip cancellation. It sounds like you are concerned with the trip cancellation aspect only. You advise the insurance company exactly how much you spent to take the Carnival cruise (let's say it's $1,000. then you purchase insurance in the amount of $1,000. which will be refunded to you in the event that you cannot go on the cruise for THE SET REASONS named in the policy. Either you become ill, one of your parents becomes ill etc. The policy you are looking for needs ti cover the event that you are offered a job the day before the cruise sets sal. Make sure the latter scenario is covered.
