Do I have to pass customs/immigration in a connecting flight in Jordan?

Will I be able to skip the first leg of the returning flight and just catch the connecting flight?

  • I am going to be planning a trip to Chicago, IL. I checked flight and found that it is considerably less expensive to fly into Madison, WI than Chicago. I will be booking a round trip flight to Madison from Aug 22 - Aug 31. I found though the the returning flight connects in Chicago where I am going to be staying. I figure it would be much easier to just skip the flight from Madison to Chicago and catch the connecting flight home rather than having to travel to Madison then take a flight that will just bring me back to where I was. Would I be able to skip the flight from Madison to Chicago and just take the connecting flight home or will the airlines not allow this?

    How are you going to get to Chicago from Madison. You're looking at over a 3 hour drive? If renting a car, its going to be more expensive to drop it off in chicago than bring it back where you rented it in Madison.

No. If you simply skip the first leg of the trip the airline will cancel the rest of your itinerary as a "no show". Call the airline and ask if you can modify the ticket so you skip the Madison-Chicago leg, but don't "just do it".

No. Once you miss one leg of a flight, the rest of your flight becomes null and void.

When your plane leaves Madison without you, your booking will be cancelled and you'll be stuck in Chicago. It's an expensive way to save!
