My smart parts ion will not shoot?

My smart parts ion wont shoot?

• I just bought this gun off of ebay and I put in my compressed air tank, that i filled before using the gun and when i turn on the trigger, it doesnt shoot, I looked on the inside of the gun and the air lines ar brown could it be the lines or the regulator, I need an answer to help me out

  Hoses inside the Ion are probably old if they've browned, but you'll hear a leak if those are bad. The trick with most electros (like the Ion) is the battery. Put in a fresh battery, name brand like Energizer or Duracell, and that may solve the problem. Trigger functions are controlled electronically, and there's also an electronically controlled valve called a solenoid, both of which need a healthy supply of battery power to operate. So try a new battery before anything else. Also, if you turn it on and are trying to shoot without paintballs, that simply means the anti-chop eyes are on. If they don't "see" a ball, the gun won't shoot. So try shooting paintballs first, or turn the eyes off (tap the power button while the Ion is on).
