What airsoft gbb should I get?

Is this a good first airsoft rig for a sniper?

  • My dad is wanting to get into airsoft with my friends and I. We play at a ligit field (Bad Karma). In my company we all use KWA and we have a great time. My father who is a gun fanatic decided he wants to play but be a sniper. I am no sniper and have not used them, just gbb and aeg's. For starting rig is a ECHO 1 m28 with an NC Star 3-9x40 sight good enough? I have watched a few videos on them and they look pretty good and for the cheap price echo1 is the only people i trust for quality. The reason im going with it is because at airsoftgi.com it will only be 184bucks after savings for everything. Suggestions are helpful but i do not want to go to expensive because he wont play that much i think.

    Echo1 is a great AEG manufacture that I know. I havent heard anything bad about them but take a look into some other ones like some from WELL and AGM or UTG they all do really good sniper rifles. Take a look here http://www.airsplat.com/Airsoft-Sniper-Rifles.htm

Decent weapons, and really good quality. However, if you play on a outdoor field (as I suspect), I suggest on getting a ghillie suit to camouflage him. I also recommend a GBB sidearm to protect him, and if you can afford it, a claymore.

I know you might not agree, but I will try anyways. If you want a cheap and BEAST gun, i suggest an upgraded AGM l96. I know what you are thinking, "AGM SUCKS!!". And yes, they do, but the l96 is one of the FEW guns they have made that have been successful. I myself own this gun, and have had it for 5 years now and haven't had ONE problem with it. I took a chance with it cause all i trust is KWA, but my sniper is a BOSS on the field. Trust me the AGM is cheap, beast, and RELIABLE.
