What if Pep were to coach Argentina?

  • Can you imagine, Pep and Argentina, he would make Argentina an absolute monster. First, there is Messi, and he can reshape Messi on the international front. Secondly, Argentina have the most offensive team in the world: Messi, Higuain, Pastore, Di Maria, Aguaro, Lavezzi, Milito and the list goes on, even our midfielders and mainly attacking. Pep can finally use Masherano as a CB, find a working and solid defense and I think with him at the helm, Argentina would absolutely terrorize any team. Just a thought, dont see it happening but i can dream

    You can dream. It's not likely, but who knows after having a year's rest? I've always felt that they have great players and if they could just get a coach that could find a system that could get the best out of them then, as you say, they could indeed be a monster! If they can do that then the world cup in Brazil could be their time!

That would be an interesting thought - but only in our dreams. Pep coaching Argentina probably not, just because the way their futbol is. If Argentina would be in Europe, more than likely I would have said probably he would go for it. Yeah - I frankly believe if Argentinians agreed he would be a very good fit for them. But their politics as well their neighbors(Brazil) in Futbol - I do not see this happening.
