Why do most white people celebrate the evils of thier history, instead of hiding it in shame?
-
Have you noticed this? They will celebrate evil within their race and ignore/twist to story as if those evil people were "good" instead of just not mentioning these evils people or events at all I dont understand how white people can celebrate such evil Like they even celebrate people being killed!! Like when Osama Bin Laden was killed<<<i couldnt believe how many whites celebrated this!! This is so evil! Though Osama was a bad man..i wouldnt celebrate his death!! if anything the people who were harmed by him should feel relieved..but not happiness at all!

Answer:
I didn't undertand that either. Celebrating a man's death is cruel. Also, they have to be evil to not be disgusted by the evil doings of their ancestors.

what celebrations are you talking about? you have to be specific. I could see if you said Thanksgiving or something (b/c of the whole stealing land from the Native Americans). Osama bin Laden being killed I think was something that a lot of ppl were excited about not just white people. I personally didn't celebrate it b/c I don't really feel that it's right to celebrate anyone's death. I was glad it happened but I think celebrating joyfully was just as bad as some of the Muslims who were celebrating when 9/11 happened.

I can't say why a certain race of people do that , but I can say that evil is widely celebrated and I do see a lot of good being called evil and evil being called good . In the bible it says in the end times this world will believe right is wrong and wrong is right and we are seeing this happen so fast it's very scary.

Your questions remind me of a Biblical character: the serpent in the Garden of Eden.
I agree with what you said about Bin Laden. It was pretty sickening seeing the news coverage of all the people celebrating on the streets, he was bad, but it reminded me of a medieval type crowd, gathered to see someone being hung in the local town square. I don't agree with capital punishment never mind turning out to celebrate a murdered man's death (No matter how evil they are considered to be), it seems like a primitive action. I don't understand what you mean by celebrating evil within our race though, how so? I for one am certainly not proud of what my race did. I don't really fly the British flag because it seems so stained with blood. But I don't think people should hide it either. I think if white people tried to hide their races past we would be accused of denying it also. It should be remembered, not nostalgically or in a proud way, but in a way where the atrocities of the white race are remembered to hopefully educate future generations on how wrong that kind of thing is.

Obama's campaign slogan "Bin Laden is dead, GM is alive" - yet you still love Obama.... hmmm

I don't celebrate them. I ignore Columbus day, for instance. But the fact is, I'm not responsible for what people did 200 years ago. And while we're on the subject, why is there no United White People College Fund? And why do black people, who have so many potential financial incentives to perform well, continue to have huge numbers of children when they don't have any money to support them? And why don't they go to college when the grants are mostly reserved for them and Hispanics? I guess I'll continue to try to figure out why black people feel so oppressed while I'm paying off my 70,000 dollars in student loans. Try living in the present and asking yourself what kind of impression most black people make on complete strangers. They can barely speak and dress like thugs, but we're supposed to give them the benefit of the doubt and hire them because of the color of their skin? And why would pretending that the shameful acts of white people didn't happen do anyone any good? It seems like it would serve as a warning for us. Ask the government to stop giving us the day off to honor a guy who never actually set foot on American soil. Yeah, I can hear the racist screams now. lol

I think there are many events and people in history that are given a great deal of praise, that *definitely* should NOT be. Like Columbus, the Pilgrims, or basically *any* figure in colonization of the Americas. I also agree 100% on Osama Bin Laden; in fact, I was on this website that *very* night when everyone found out, decrying all the celebration. It's barbaric to celebrate the death of another human being, no matter HOW evil; not only that, it doesn't bring back the victims (and I'm sure their families only saw this as a reminder of that horrible day - not a happy occasion). However, Whites weren't the only ones celebrating, it was people of ALL races - still, you're absolutely right on this one.

What specific evils are you speaking of??? If you're talking about Osama, then MANY citizens of the U.S. celebrated that, not only the white citizens. Also, stop grouping all white people together as if they are one person. If anyone is racist here, it is YOU.

You need to be more specific when you say they celebrate this. Not all of them throw parties for Hitler, or slavery or the kiling of malcolm x. Some do, most don't.
