Anxious for no reason?

So this is has been happening for some time now (few years from what I can remember.) I would anxious for no reason. I'll be laying in bed trying to sleep and think to my self what I would do with the money if I win the lottery then I'd get anxious about not know what to do with it. Happens a lot when a take a part something and put it back, always anxious about it not working even though it's working great in front of me. Any ideas? Solutions?

Anxiety is our mind's way of telling us that we are not doing what we know we must do to reach our ideal selves (in a very broad sense). This is purely speculation, but perhaps the anxiety in your case is caused by your ideal as that of being wealthy--or at least comfortable--but in actuality you have not accomplished tasks or steps to get you to that point. To make anxiety go away, one must either lower their ideals/goals to meet that which they can accomplish with their current efforts, or increase their efforts to match their higher ideals/goals. The main point is a balance between the current self and ideal self. As a suggestion, you can make yourself smaller, incremental goals that might get you to your bigger goals, and then see if your anxiety starts to fade if you pursue these smaller goals every day.

Sounds to me like you're putting to the horse before the carriage. Some of the things you're probably worrying about has happened yet and some of those things may never happen. So basically, you should deal with certain situations when and if they arise. What you're doing is letting your mind wonder; I know because I've done it from time to time.
