Help with Social Studies?

HELP: Really Important Question: Social Studies Bee! (More details below)?

• In June, every 6th grader at my school takes a test to see if they could make it into the 6th Grade Social Studies Bee. If you pass the test, that means you make it into the bee. You've got to memorize everything that we learned about in 6th grade from the first day of school to the last lesson. Then when the 2nd to last or the last day of school comes, if you made it in the bee, then you get to compete against the other 6th graders who also made it in the bee, to see if you can win the trophy. Basically, your parents and the other grade levels go to the school auditorium, while your 6th grade social studies teacher asks you questions on history and he has a big map on geography where he will ask you to point to the place on the map that he says. You have 10 seconds to answer each question he asks you. If you get one wrong, then you're done! I really want to win the social studies bee! I'll do ANYTHING to get first place! Social studies is my best subject, but there's a lot of other people who have a really good chance of getting first place! The Social Studies Bee is in about a month! I don't have any time to lose! How can I guarantee to win or at least have like a 99% chance of winning! Lots of people are counting on me and this is my dream! Please help! Thanks!

• Answer:

  Put the main topics on 3X5 cards (number them) then on a legal pad put a corresponding number and list the sub-topics on that sheet. Staple the card and legal page together, and make a time-line for history. Do the same thing with your geography section. If it is world geography arrange the cards and paper by continents.
