What grades do I need to get into college?

I want to play college football, my grades are bad, and I need to get big.?

  • I have little bit of a predicament. I want to play college football, this is my senior year, and my only year of football ever. I know the game, and I love it. My grades have slumped and I'm going to probably the worst school in the state, Hudson Valley Community College. They are a Njcaa III school, which is the lowest i believe. Is it possible to have a great two years with them, and maybe be recruited to a better school? If I also work to my potential in academics of course. I also want to know how I can get big and fast to play next year; nothing illegal like steroids, but what dietary supplements and such. I'm 5'8 i think, weigh 140 right now, and am 17 years old (started early). I played as a wide receiver this year, but I think I may be able to serve better as a Runningback. I will do just about anything to make this happen. Thank you. And if you're going to tell me that it's impossible and I won't be able to do it, please kindly go **** yourself.

  • Answer:

You have no chance to play college ball. Sorry those are the facts. If you can't get the grades in school, the colleges will not take a chance. You only played one year, probably Pop Warner when you were like 10. Being 140 lbs you will get tossed around as a rag doll. You will be crushed. If you want to make it happen, get on the 'roids now.

My advice is stop worrying about football. The simple reason is that football isn't going to pay the bills the next 75 years of your life. Stop being a dope and study. If you do that and the opportunity presents itself to play then take advantage and good luck to you. I played college ball and I'm glad football came second. I'd be living in a cardboard box if I didn't study.

You can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. Dont let people who sit in front of a computer screen all day bring down your dream. But you have to work harder. Honestly the future doesnt look bright for you but you can persevere. GET YOUR GRADES AND YOUR WEIGHT UP! Oh and watch Rudy. Great movie, true story.

You should focus on your education.. That's the most important thing you can do with your life right now....Get your grades up and keep them up and maybe then consider playing ball... Good luck....

I highly encourage you to try out, and become a walk-on, for your community college football program this upcoming season. Personally, I do not believe that you need to make a position change. Based on your height and weight, I believe that the best fit for you is at the wide receiver position. For your age, you have the ideal size for a college freshman wide receiver. By the way, it is possible for you to get recruited to a better school. If you perform very well in football during your time at the community college, you can still get recruited to play for a Division 1 College Football program in the future. Also, use your time at the community college to improve your grades/GPA.
