What is the value of an unopened pack of 1989 NC State basketball cards.?

  • I was wondering roughly what the value would be for an unopened pack of 1989 NC State basketball trading cards. I also have some of the 1st Edition packs unopened from the same year. I have a grand total of 60 unopened packs. I was looking to sell all 60 packs. Im simply wondering what I should ask for them. Anyone who has ANY information it would be GREATLY appreciated. To whomever answers thank you for your time and advice!

    Included is a link of the 16 different players that make up the collection. An 1989-90 NC State Tom Gugliotta card was listed for $8 (suckers). The names of the other 15 players command zero value. 1989 Michael Jordan North Carolina cards are worth $1-3, and keep in mind that Jordans (late 80's/early 90's) are worth more than every other player combined. If you're going to sell these cards, put the word "RARE" in big bold letters. North Carolina State is going to be a tough sell. None of the players have any value. I'd estimate $3 a pack (1st edition or not) based on the pricing of similar items. $180 for all 60- give it a shot. I doubt anybody would pay that much, and frankly I'd be shocked if they sold at all. If somebody offers you $20 for all 60 packs, take the money and run.

Probably not that much. Late 80's and early 90's sports cards are some of the least valuable cards around, and if they're school specific they were probably made by a lesser known card company. You might be able to sell them to someone who is a big NC State fan, or someone who owns a shop that'd be willing to buy the lot then sell the packs individually at their store. As for now, I would just check Ebay for proper pricing.
