How many hours for the second degree?

How many hours a week would a cIvil engineering degree take up?

  • Basically, if i were to study, how many days a week/total hours per week would the classes be and how long would the study per week take. Excluding pre-exam studying

  • Answer:

I think a good rule of thumb for most engineering classes is to multiple by three the number of credit hours and this about the time you should expect to be in class, reading for class, or studying for class and doing homework. This excludes times of mid-terms and finals where things get crazy. So if you take 15 credit hours of engineering classes in a semester expect to spend around 45 hours a week on class stuff.
