What are some easy ways to make money?

In order to make profit, your going to need to invest and spend some money first. Selling things around the house can be good for fast money, but it's not going to add up to be anything big in the final outcome. If you just need a quick buck to buy something inexpensive, sell a few electronics laying around the house because it sells fast, and you can often make a 10-15% in profit. But if your in need of some serious cash, like make a living off of this (which I recommend you don't from personal experience), your going to need to put together and invest a LOT of time and dedication in researching what's "hot" and what's in "need". Also starting off with a sum of cash already at hand can give you a huge boost in profit. Alright now, here's the steps I took when first starting off in this business. I started off with NO cash invested so I had to start from the very bottom. But where do you start? Well first, I raised about 70 dollars selling rare trading game cards like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. These sell slow so it isn't recommended and since the prices are low; the profit is low. After raising some money, you can either do two things: 1) Continue your profitless sell/buy of cheap items routine or 2) go up a notch and enter the 3 digit dollar values. Here, you have to be-careful because as the profit goes up, so does the risk. You HAVE to research for the correct values and the items popularity rate at this point or your looking forth to a massive profit loss. If you don't research, it's more of a gamble than a business. Don't take the gamble. Anyways, with 70 dollars at hand, I bought 3 will remote controllers from someone selling them cheap. Cheap is good. Cheap = profit. With the wii controls I boosted up to around 85 bucks if I recall correctly. And then having nothing more to buy for cheap, I sold some books lying around the house and raised my total to a 110$. Now it gets exciting. From here you have variety of things to buy and sell. I stuck to electronics and bought a 8GB second generation Itouch for about 90 bucks. I sold this for 100 bucks and made a 10$ profit. Small, but it's getting somewhere. So: 110 - 90 = 20. 20 + 100 = 120$. I remember repeating this process endlessly over and over again until I found my self somewhere in the 500$ range. I got tired of buying/re-selling Ipods so I moved on to something different. I took interest in legos (I still am using legos as my main method of ebay merchandising). I did a lot of research and I had previously knowledge about prices of legos because I was a lego fanatic when younger. So I started to sell/re-sell old star wars sets. Bought for 80 -120 bucks, re-sold to collectors for 20-30 bucks higher. I eventually boosted up to around 1500$ doing the lego routine for a course of few months. I never got tired of it. So now I was in the 4 digits. This is where the big profits starts coming in. At this point, I practically had the prices on legos on Ebay memorized by heart and knew what was popular, what was rare, and what I could profit off the most. I found myself going after 'limited edition' legos. Where it would be sold for only a certain amount of time. Did this again and again and after I did this for awhile I began to almost "foresee" what was going to be discontinued and high in value and what was going to a complete waste of money. By time the I hit around the 5k area, I found myself tired of buying one thing at a time and started to buy many of one item and storing it until the values rose. This was a complete gamble but I could hit the jackpot. And I did. I bought 20 sets of the Lego Cafe Corner set which was valued around 199.99 USD when first marketed. My original intentions were to sell it for 10-15 bucks higher and make small profits, but the set was shortly discontinued and labeled "rare". Having sold only a few thousand copies, I owned 20! The value sky-rocketed within a year and a half from 200$ ( the original market price) to a 1000$ PER set. Sold all of them on multiple websites ( not just ebay) and found my self with a huge profit. End profit in 2 years: Started with 0$ raised to 70$. Profit = 70$. Sold wii controllers + book so 70$ + 15$ + 25$ = 110$ Bought/Sold ipods over and over untill around 500$. Bought/Sold sets of old starwars legos untill 1500$. Total 1500$. Bought/Sold limited edition legos in bundles untill 5000$. And for the jackpot: Spent 4000$ bucks on 20 sets of legos. so 5000-4000= 1000. Only 1000$ left. But sold all sets for a whopping price of around 19,200$. So in total I made 20,200$. This is my success story. Hope you can take away something from it and use it to your advantage. Don't feel like it's not possible because your young. I was 17.
