Can i import mass effect save games?

Hey, i have been playing mass effect 1 recently, and i want to import my save to mass effect 3 when i buy it, is this possible? i have mass effect 1 on pc and i will buy mass effect 3 on xbox, i found a site to convert them so this is no problem, ( i dont play me3 on pc because my pc is bad ) but can i import my mass effect 1 save to my mass effect 3 game, Thanks

Unfortunately you cannot. :( Due to the game only importing from the previous game (ME3 > ME2 > ME1) you would have to buy Mass Effect 2 first. My suggestion would be to buy Mass Effect 2 for PC (if your PC ran run it) and play through it then, or buy Mass Effect 2 for xbox and convert your ME1 file to your xbox. Mass Effect is pretty cheap wherever you go to buy (Steam, Target, Gamestop) and is actually my favorite out of the three games.

Not possible as you can only import a file from the previous mass effect game so you need to import an ME2 file not an ME1 file
