Xbox 360 controller issues?

  • My right analog stick has become stiff, and when moved the camera (to look left and right) becomes really slow. Ive tried using a pen to make it unstiff, and it worked but only for a little while. The analog stick keeps getting stiffer. ANy help/suggestions on how to fix it

It's a technical problem inside your controller... - I'd suggest to get a brand new controller because you've probably clogged the analog stick. If you try to fix it yourself, you will be unable to put it back together successfully unless you know what you're doing.

Take your controller appart and clean the stick, you can also soulder the wires back onto the chip in the controller. it may or may not work, it worked with mine but my friends stayed the same and he had to get a new one:/

If you're more of an aggressive gamer, than your controller is more likely to break. The only way to find out the problem is if you open it up and inspect the hardware and fix it yourself; other than that you may need to buy a new one.

Over time, this is really common. I think the easiest way to go around this is to trade it in at a used video games store and buy a new one.
