How do I fix the "Blinking" problem on my DSi?

Action Replay DSi Issue?

• Okay, so about 2 weeks ago or so I bought an Action Replay DSi. I'm using it for a DS Lite, which it's compatible with. The product did NOT come with a disk or anything other than a cord and the AR. When I want to add new codes to it (non-manually), I can't. I've downloaded the software off of Codejunkies.com, but it still wouldn't work. I looked up how I can resolve this problem, but none of the suggestions worked. The main problem was: When I would load up the program on the computer, I would have my AR plugged into the PC. BUT, all it would say was that it was searching for the action replay game card. Are there any simple solutions to this? I would enter the codes manually, but I don't want to waste all that time doing that when I could be doing better things. (I don't spend all day playing my DS or other video games before or after manually entering cheats, so I DO have better things to do. It's mainly just a night thing before I go to bed.) I'm mostly just looking for a cheat code to complete the Pokedex in Pokemon Soul Silver version, and I found a code, but it is crazy long. I'd entered an extremely long code one time and nearly lost my mind, and it wasn't quite as long as the Pokedex one. I know people will tell me to just suck it up and put it in manually, but although that may have worked for them and they had no problem with it, I'm not those people and have better things to do, once again. I don't want to waste half an hour to an hour of my day just putting in one code. There's also always the chance it doesn't work, and that would be a whole lot of WASTED time. Any suggestions to fix this? PS: Could you please put it in steps to make it easier?

Insert installation disc into computer and plug in the action replay. 2. Right click on My Computer 3. Open properties. 4. Locate hardware tab and click device manager then find the action replay dsi under the Other USB items. 5. Right click and bring up properties. 6. Click drivers and update drivers. 7. Click Browse my computer for the driver software. 8. Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer" 9. Select "Show all devices" and click next. 10. Click "Have disk" 11. Click browse and back out until you are able to see your action replay disc in your cd-rom drive and click into it. 12. Select the dsiarhwprog_x64 and click open. Click ok and next and it should install.
